Creating a clean and safe place to live, play and work.
Community Cleanup day is an event we sponsor each month to help promote civic-mindedness and help to instill a sense of responsibility in the kids. We partner with various individuals who we know serve as role models for our youth. We have partnered with several of the Atlanta area’s well known rappers, musicians and athletes as well as other distinguished individuals with whom our youth may not already be familiar but are individuals who have positive messages to share and whose lives and accomplishments serve as inspirations for our knowledge hungry youth.
Each month we ask the kids to choose an area of their neighborhood that they feel needs some special attention or which they consider to be neglected. The results we’ve witnessed have been nothing less than astounding. These efforts appear to have a profound effect on the sensibility of these kids and has uplifted morale and enthusiasm as well as civic pride.
